Dr Sajit George Thomas

Dr Sajit George Thomas is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in the value of holistic medicine, taking the time to listen to his patients and understand their unique healthcare needs. Dr George Thomas enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, striving to bring traditional values of family medicine into his modern clinical practice.

Dr George Thomas completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Kerala, India, in 2002. He subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom, where he completed his postgraduate hospital and General Practice training, passing his membership examinations for the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) to become a vocationally trained General Practitioner in 2008. After moving to Australia in 2014, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Demonstrating his commitment to the advancement of his profession, he also serves as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and works as an accredited Medical Educator.

Throughout his career, Dr George Thomas has developed a broad range of clinical expertise. He has extensive experience in managing chronic diseases, with a particular focus on diabetes care. His clinical interests also span paediatric medicine, care of the elderly, palliative care, pain management, and substance misuse support. Additionally, he is highly skilled in mental health, travel medicine, sexual health, and obstetrics and gynaecology, and regularly performs clinical procedures such as contraceptive implant insertions and removals, as well as skin cancer assessments.
