Dr Saidul Ansary

Dr Saidul Ansary is a highly qualified Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of lung and sleep-related conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he specialises in diagnosing and managing complex respiratory issues and sleep disorders. His clinical focus encompasses conditions such as chronic cough, sleep apnoea, insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and parasomnia. Dr Ansary is dedicated to helping patients achieve better respiratory health and improved sleep quality through personalised, evidence-based treatment plans.

Dr Ansary completed his primary medical education at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1992. He later earned his Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2000 and went on to complete his Specialist training, achieving a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2011. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, Dr Ansary is an active member of several prestigious professional organisations. These include the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the American Thoracic Society, the European Respiratory Society, the Australasian Sleep Association, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr Ansary has gained extensive international and local experience, having trained and worked across Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Australia. In addition to his clinical practice, he contributes to the education of future medical professionals as a Clinical Lecturer at the Australian National University. He also plays an active role in multidisciplinary cancer care teams, collaborating with other medical Specialists to co-ordinate comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with lung cancer.
