Dr Ryan Livingston

Dr Ryan Livingston is a highly qualified Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering aesthetically excellent results while restoring function. Dr Livingston is dedicated to understanding each patient's unique goals, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their surgical journey. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, body contouring, and skin cancer reconstruction.

Dr Livingston completed his medical degree at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital (University of London) in 2003. During his studies, he was awarded a prestigious research scholarship, leading to a research degree and thesis at the Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research in London, where he graduated with First Class Honours. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. To further refine his surgical skills, he undertook advanced microvascular training in both London and Germany. Dr Livingston is a member of several prominent professional bodies, including the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Livingston is deeply committed to medical education and research. He is a founding Senior Medical Officer at a major regional plastic surgery department and holds academic titles at both the University of Queensland and Griffith University, where he actively teaches and mentors the next generation of medical professionals. His dedication to clinical education was recognised with a nomination for Clinical Educator of the Year.
