Dr Ryan Holmes

Dr Ryan Holmes is a dedicated and compassionate Specialist General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, whole-person healthcare. He believes in a patient-centred approach, working in unison with individuals to help them achieve their personal health goals. With a focus on delivering customised and thorough medical care, Dr Holmes ensures that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to support their long-term health and well-being.

Dr Holmes completed his medical education at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2014 with a combined Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours). Following his graduation, he completed his residency training at a major metropolitan hospital before transitioning to work as a General Practitioner. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has furthered his clinical expertise by obtaining a Diploma of Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology.

In his clinical practice, Dr Holmes has developed a diverse range of special interests. He is highly focused on preventative medicine, mental health, and aged care, alongside men's health and sexual health. Additionally, Dr Holmes has a strong interest in dermatology and skin cancer medicine, which includes the management of various skin conditions and the optimisation of nutrition for skin health. His holistic approach also encompasses gut health and nutritional medicine, allowing him to address complex health issues from multiple angles.
