Dr Rupa Sehgal

Dr Rupa Sehgal is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Sehgal possesses a wide range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health and children's health. Her expertise encompasses essential preventative and diagnostic services, including comprehensive general health checks, baby health checks, and immunisations. She is highly skilled in performing skin cancer checks, biopsies, and excisions, as well as providing specialised contraceptive procedures such as the insertion and removal of Implanon and Mirena devices. Dr Sehgal completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Rajindra Medical College in Patiala, India. She went on to obtain a Diploma in Anaesthesia from Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, India. Before relocating to Australia, she gained valuable clinical experience working as both an Anaesthetist and a General Practitioner at a major multispeciality hospital in Chandigarh, India. Upon moving to Australia, she successfully completed her postgraduate training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
