Dr Roxanne Kempster

Dr Roxanne Kempster is a highly qualified and dedicated Ophthalmologist who is committed to delivering exceptional eye care to her patients. With a reassuring and professional approach, she focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and compassionate treatment. Her clinical expertise spans general ophthalmology, with a particular focus on restoring and preserving vision.

Her areas of clinical interest include advanced cataract surgery and pterygium surgery, as well as the management of glaucoma. Additionally, Dr Kempster has a strong interest in oculoplastic surgery, specialising in the treatment of diseases affecting the eyelids and the lacrimal (tear) systems. Through these specialised procedures, she aims to improve both the functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients experiencing complex eye and eyelid conditions.

Dr Kempster completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMed Sc) in 1991. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO).
