Dr Rowshon Jahan

Dr Rowshon Jahan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical care that addresses both immediate health concerns and long-term wellness. Dr Jahan enjoys the diverse nature of general practice, managing a wide variety of general health conditions with professionalism and reassurance.

Her clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of family medicine, with particular interests in Women's Health, Children's Health, and preventative medicine. Dr Jahan is highly skilled in performing various minor clinical procedures, including the insertion and removal of Implanon contraceptive devices. Her holistic approach ensures that patients of all ages receive personalised care tailored to their unique health journeys.

Dr Jahan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Dhaka in 2003. She went on to obtain her Australian Medical Council certificate in 2008 and completed an Advanced Life Support Course in 2014. Demonstrating her commitment to paediatric care, she also holds a Diploma in Child Health. Dr Jahan achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015. Her extensive training includes roles as a GP Registrar in rural New South Wales and as a Senior Resident Medical Officer in Sydney, equipping her with a robust clinical foundation.
