Dr Rose Brewer

Dr Rose Brewer is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, community-based healthcare. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering comprehensive medical care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. Dr Brewer believes in fostering strong practitioner-patient relationships built on trust, empathy, and open communication, ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their health journeys.

Dr Brewer obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in 1982. Following her graduation, she completed extensive clinical training in hospital settings before pursuing her passion for General Practice. To further her expertise in women's healthcare, she also obtained a Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DipRACOG). Her professional journey includes diverse medical placements across various regional and rural communities, which has enriched her clinical knowledge and adaptability.

In her clinical practice, Dr Brewer has developed a particular interest in Women's Health and Travel Medicine. She is highly skilled in managing a broad spectrum of general practice presentations, ranging from preventative health and chronic disease management to acute family medicine. Outside of her medical career, she has a deep appreciation for horticulture, music, and Italian culture, which reflects her holistic and well-rounded approach to life and patient care.
