Dr Rohit Kumar

Dr Rohit Kumar is a highly qualified and dedicated Specialist Plastic Surgeon who is committed to delivering natural-looking results for his patients. Dr Kumar completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 1995. He subsequently pursued further academic excellence, obtaining a Master of Medical Science in Burns Surgery from the same institution in 2004. Following foundational training as a General Surgeon, he undertook advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, culminating in a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He is an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

In his clinical practice, Dr Kumar focuses on a comprehensive range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He has a particular interest in body contouring and breast surgery, helping patients who have undergone significant physical changes due to weight loss or pregnancy. His expertise also encompasses skin cancer surgery, cancer reconstruction, hand surgery, and the management of burns and scars. Through his dedication to teaching and professional development, Dr Kumar also contributes to training the next generation of Plastic Surgeons.
