Dr Robert Salisbury

Dr Robert Salisbury is a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients on the Central Coast of New South Wales. He brings a unique perspective to general medicine, combining extensive surgical expertise with a holistic approach to patient well-being. Known for his reassuring and professional manner, Dr Salisbury is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care that addresses both acute and chronic health needs.

Dr Salisbury completed his medical education at the University of Wales College of Medicine in the United Kingdom, qualifying in 1995 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BCh). Following his graduation, he undertook rigorous postgraduate surgical training in the UK, earning membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS). He later transitioned to primary care, obtaining membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the UK. After relocating to Australia in 2021, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

With a strong background in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, Dr Salisbury has a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine and sports medicine, specialising in the diagnosis and management of joint problems and sporting injuries. His clinical expertise also spans chronic disease management, where he supports patients living with conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disorders.
