Dr Alex Hamilton is a highly qualified Ophthalmologist, Cataract, Refractive and Corneal Surgeon, and Medical Retina Specialist. Dedicated to providing patient-centred care, he utilises modern, proven treatments and advanced surgical techniques to deliver high-quality outcomes. Dr Hamilton is committed to clear communication, ensuring that his patients are fully informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Hamilton completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle before undertaking his specialist training in Ophthalmology at a leading eye hospital in Sydney. To further refine his expertise, he completed advanced subspecialty fellowships in the United Kingdom, focusing on corneal and refractive surgery at a specialist eye hospital in Manchester, and medical retina at a world-renowned ophthalmic hospital in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
