Dr Tess Huynh

Dr. Tess Huynh is an experienced Ophthalmologist with specialist expertise in cataract surgery, laser eye surgery, keratoconus, and pterygium management. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1996 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2005.

Dr. Huynh is highly experienced in managing complex cataract cases, particularly those involving co-existing eye conditions. She offers advanced surgical treatments for keratoconus, including CAIRS (Corneal Allogenic Intrastromal Ring Segments), ICRS (Intracorneal Ring Segments/Kerarings), and Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking, helping patients access the latest innovations in ophthalmic care.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Huynh has played an active role in education and research. She is a past examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and honorary lecturer at Sydney Medical School. Alongside this she is also involved in clinical and technological research within the ophthalmic industry and is a member of the Australasian, American, and European Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Dr. Huynh has participated in charitable initiatives across Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Since 2006, she has volunteered as a surgeon and fundraiser for the Vietnam Vision Project.
