Dr Richard Walker

Dr Richard Walker is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Liverpool, Australia. With a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-focused outcomes, he provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Walker earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1995. He went on to complete advanced training in orthopaedic surgery, achieving a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2003. To further refine his expertise, he undertook a twelve-month post-fellowship training programme in hip and knee replacement surgery and trauma at the University of Toronto in Canada. Dr Walker is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and a Member of the Australian Medical Association.

His clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of orthopaedic procedures, with a particular interest in hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as complex trauma reconstruction. Dr Walker is highly skilled in performing primary and revision joint replacements, arthroscopic knee surgery, and computer-aided limb reconstruction.
