Dr Richard Tobin

Dr Richard Tobin is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Tobin is committed to delivering high-quality medical services, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring care tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Throughout his career, Dr Tobin has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He has a strong focus on dermatology and skin cancer management, which includes performing thorough skin cancer checks and providing preventative care advice. Additionally, he is highly experienced in men's health, sports medicine, and travel medicine. His diverse clinical background also extends to contributing to urgent care services and event health teams, demonstrating his versatility and readiness to manage acute medical situations.

Dr Tobin obtained his primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, in Scotland. To further his expertise in skin health, he also completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Tobin is actively involved in medical education, teaching undergraduate medical students and serving as an accredited Supervisor for General Practitioners completing their postgraduate training in general practice.
