Dr Richard Shepherd

Dr Richard Shepherd is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on General Medicine, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of his patients through every stage of life. Dr Shepherd is known for his reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that individuals receive thorough assessments and personalised management plans tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Shepherd completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc). Following his graduation, he undertook an additional year of multidisciplinary medical research before completing his internship at a major metropolitan hospital. He furthered his clinical training through diverse rotations across regional and metropolitan healthcare facilities, gaining extensive experience in various medical specialties. Dr Shepherd is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
