Dr Richard Nguyen

Dr Richard Nguyen is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach to medicine, he focuses on building strong rapport, fostering relaxation, and ensuring a deep understanding of each patient's unique health journey. Dr Nguyen believes that keeping patients healthy through proactive health promotion is just as vital as treating illness, and he welcomes patients seeking support across all aspects of general medicine.

Dr Nguyen completed his medical degree at Western Sydney University, qualifying in 2013. Following his graduation, he undertook his internship and residency training at major metropolitan hospitals in Sydney before relocating to regional New South Wales to further develop his clinical skills. In early 2018, he obtained a Diploma of Child Health and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout his career, Dr Nguyen has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is highly skilled in emergency and acute care medicine, preventative care, men's health, and mental health. Additionally, he is accredited to provide focussed psychological strategies for patients requiring acute counselling. Dr Nguyen also holds a strong professional and personal affinity for supporting neurodivergent patients, ensuring they receive tailored and empathetic care.
