Dr Mcdermott completed his medical training in the United Kingdom, qualifying as a General Practitioner after gaining valuable experience across a diverse range of specialties in both British and Australian hospitals. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Bachelor of Science (BSc), and a Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP). Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
