Dr Rex Kwan

Dr Rex Kwan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in treating the whole person, offering a safe and non-judgemental space for individuals from all walks of life. With a focus on integrating modern medical innovations and alternative therapies into his practice, Dr Kwan strives to expand the therapeutic options available to his patients, ensuring they receive personalised and effective healthcare solutions to support their overall well-being.

Throughout his diverse medical career, Dr Kwan has gained extensive experience across a wide range of clinical settings. He has worked in major metropolitan emergency departments, provided corrective health services within maximum and minimum-security correctional facilities, and collaborated with public health teams to guide antiviral treatments during critical health crises. As an Authorised Prescriber of medicinal cannabis, he is actively involved in the progressive field of cannabinoid medicine, acting as a Lecturer on its applications and advocating for its use in managing chronic pain, sleep disorders, and mental health conditions.

Dr Kwan completed his foundational medical training at the University of Notre Dame, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Prior to his medical degrees, he earned a Bachelor of Science in medical microbiology and immunology. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. Additionally, he has completed a Diploma in Cosmetic Injectables, further expanding his clinical capabilities. Dr Kwan is an active Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Cannabinoid Practitioners, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of emerging medical treatments.
