Dr Resha Abbas

Dr Resha Abbas is a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She possesses a broad range of clinical expertise, having worked extensively in major public hospitals across diverse medical fields, including geriatrics, orthopaedics, paediatrics, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. Dr Abbas graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B. Ch.B) from the Babylon University School of Medicine, Iraq, in 2001, where she also completed her medical internship. After moving to Australia, she completed her Australian Medical Council examinations in 2004. To further her expertise, she obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2006. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), demonstrating her commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards in general medicine.

With a warm and reassuring manner, Dr Abbas specialises in women's health, paediatrics, and dermatology. She has a particular interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, providing comprehensive care that spans prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal support.
