Dr Renata Abraszko

Dr Renata Abraszko is a highly qualified and internationally trained Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon based in Liverpool, Australia. She provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing complex brain, spine, and nerve conditions. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Abraszko works collaboratively with General Practitioners and other Healthcare Professionals to deliver tailored treatment plans. Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, with a strong focus on achieving optimal outcomes and restoring quality of life for her patients.

As a Specialist in both Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery, Dr Abraszko has a particular interest in minimally invasive spine surgery and motion preservation spine surgery. Her expertise also extends to the management of brain tumours, cerebrovascular malformations, and brain injuries, including head trauma and stroke-related conditions. Additionally, she is highly skilled in treating hydrocephalus and spinal cord injuries. Dr Abraszko completed her medical degree in Poland, graduating with Honours. She then undertook her specialist neurosurgical training across Poland and Germany, passing the European Exam in Neurosurgery and completing her PhD thesis on severe head injuries in 1994. After relocating to Australia, she engaged in extensive clinical research and was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Neurosurgery in 2004. She is an active member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Neurosurgeons, ensuring her practice remains at the forefront of medical advancements.
