Dr Regi Xavier is a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to his patients. He strongly advocates for a holistic approach to medicine, integrating the social and emotional aspects of an illness to provide well-rounded and continuing care. By spending dedicated clinical time with each patient, Dr Xavier ensures that all facets of their physical and mental well-being are thoroughly addressed.

Throughout his career, Dr Xavier has gained extensive experience working across both General Practice and the public hospital system in Queensland. Before transitioning into General Practice, he worked across various medical specialities in public hospitals, which provided him with a broad and robust clinical foundation. He has a particular interest and expertise in mental health, having completed a significant portion of the specialist training requirements with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Additionally, he has a strong focus on chronic disease management, including diabetes and hypertension, alongside a background in elderly medicine.

Dr Xavier obtained his primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his high standards of clinical competence and dedication to the field of primary care. His extensive training in both general medicine and psychiatry allows him to deliver highly specialised, empathetic care to patients of all ages. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Xavier enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring new culinary recipes.
