Dr Rebecca Pearson

Dr Rebecca Pearson is a highly dedicated Respiratory Physician who specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex lung diseases and sleep disorders. With a patient-centred approach, she provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing a wide range of respiratory conditions, including airways diseases such as severe asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Dr Pearson is committed to delivering reassuring, evidence-based medical care to help her patients achieve optimal lung health and improved quality of life.

In addition to managing general respiratory conditions, Dr Pearson has a strong clinical interest in advanced bronchoscopy, interstitial lung disease, and the investigation of lung cancer and pulmonary nodules. Her extensive expertise also extends to the highly specialised field of lung transplantation, where she serves as a part-time Staff Specialist in a major transplant unit. This dual role allows her to bring cutting-edge clinical insights and advanced therapeutic options directly to her patients in private practice.

Dr Pearson obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently completed her advanced specialist training in respiratory medicine at prominent tertiary hospitals in Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence and ongoing commitment to professional development. Prior to establishing her practice in Canberra, she gained valuable experience working as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at a major regional hospital in the Northern Territory.
