Dr Rebecca Chan

Dr Rebecca Chan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a clinical approach focused on preventive health and long-term wellbeing, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Chan is committed to delivering evidence-based medical care in a warm, reassuring, and professional manner, ensuring that her patients feel heard and supported during every consultation.

Dr Chan completed her Bachelor of Medical Science and went on to earn her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, she is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. To further her expertise in specialised areas of medicine, she has obtained a Graduate Diploma of Genetic Counselling, a Diploma of Child Health, and the Family Planning National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Additionally, she is an accredited Neuroprotective Developmental Care Practitioner through the Possums Programme and has completed advanced studies in breastfeeding medicine.

In her clinical practice, Dr Chan has developed a strong focus on women's health, paediatrics, and infant care. She is highly skilled in providing comprehensive antenatal shared care and is fully trained in the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices, including Implanon and intrauterine devices (IUDs) such as Kyleena, Mirena, and copper options. Her additional training in breastfeeding medicine and neuroprotective developmental care allows her to offer specialised support to new mothers and infants. Alongside her clinical work, she contributes to the medical community as a Medical Educator, helping to train and mentor the next generation of General Practitioners.
