Dr Ravindra Urkude

Dr Ravindra Urkude is a highly accomplished Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist who is dedicated to providing high-quality neurological care. With extensive international experience spanning India, Bahrain, and Australia, he offers comprehensive diagnostic and management services for a wide range of neurological conditions. Dr Urkude is particularly passionate about delivering precise clinical neurophysiology services to help patients understand and manage complex disorders of the brain, nerves, and muscles.

Throughout his career, Dr Urkude has developed deep expertise in several key areas of neurology. His primary clinical interests include neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy, and central and peripheral nervous system infections. He is also highly skilled in the management of dementia, stroke, Parkinson's disease, and Guillain-Barré Syndrome. To support accurate diagnoses, he performs and interprets advanced neurophysiological investigations, such as nerve conduction studies, electromyography, electroencephalography, and repetitive nerve stimulation.

Dr Urkude's extensive medical training began in India, where he completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine at Nagpur University. He went on to obtain a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Neurology from Mumbai University and a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Neurology from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi. Seeking further specialisation, he completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology in Singapore, focusing on nerve and muscle disorders. Dr Urkude is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) and actively contributes to medical education as a Lecturer.
