Dr Ramesh Cuganesan

Dr Ramesh Cuganesan is a highly qualified Consultant Radiologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services. With a commitment to delivering precise and timely assessments, he plays a vital role in patient care by utilising advanced imaging technologies to assist in accurate diagnoses. Dr Cuganesan completed his medical degree in Sydney, graduating in 1994. He subsequently undertook his basic specialist training in Radiology in Newcastle, followed by a year as an Advanced Trainee in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at a medical centre in Melbourne. To further refine his expertise, he completed intensive fellowship courses in musculoskeletal MRI in both the United States and Canada. Dr Cuganesan achieved professional recognition as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in January 2003.

Throughout his career, Dr Cuganesan has developed significant expertise across several key areas of medical imaging. He has a particular clinical interest in diagnostic neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) imaging. Additionally, he is highly skilled in musculoskeletal imaging, with a specific focus on MRI and diagnostic ultrasound.
