Dr Rajan Payyappilly

Dr Rajan Payyappilly is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare services to patients. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering personalised medical care that supports long-term health and well-being. He is committed to understanding each patient's unique medical history and tailoring treatments to meet their individual needs.

Dr Payyappilly obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, India. Prior to his medical studies, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work. He has furthered his professional credentials by becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (FAMAC). Additionally, he holds a Master of Applied Science in Medical Acupuncture from RMIT University and a Diploma in Acupuncture from Monash University.

In addition to General Practice, Dr Payyappilly has a strong clinical interest in medical acupuncture. He specialises in various acupuncture techniques, including low-level laser acupuncture (photobiomodulation) and Japanese acupuncture (Dr Manaka). Through these therapies, he offers alternative and complementary treatment options for a range of conditions, such as chronic pain management, sleep disorders, weight management, and smoking cessation. His holistic approach ensures that patients receive well-rounded care that addresses both physical and lifestyle factors.
