Dr Rachel Li is a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist who is passionate about restoring vision and helping patients achieve their optimal visual potential. As an experienced Eye Specialist and Cataract and Corneal Transplant Surgeon, Dr Li possesses extensive expertise in a broad range of advanced ophthalmic procedures. Her primary clinical interests include cataract surgery and complex corneal transplant surgeries, such as penetrating keratoplasty and partial-thickness corneal transplants. Additionally, she specialises in corneal cross-linking for keratoconus, pterygium removal, and refractive surgery. Dr Li also performs a variety of oculoplastic and eyelid surgeries, including blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, ectropion and entropion correction, and reconstruction following the excision of eyelid and ocular surface tumours.

Dr Li graduated with her medical degrees from the University of Melbourne in 2012. She completed her specialist training as an Ophthalmologist at a premier eye and ear hospital in Victoria, followed by an advanced fellowship in cataract surgery. To further refine her skills, she undertook prestigious subspecialty fellowship training in cornea and oculoplastics at a major tertiary hospital in Western Australia, as well as cornea and refractive surgery at a renowned eye hospital in the United Kingdom. Dr Li is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, reflecting her adherence to the highest professional and ethical standards in her field.
