Dr Qing Wan

Dr Qing Wan is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong commitment to preventative medicine and community health, she supports patients across all stages of life. Her clinical approach is characterised by a thorough and reassuring manner, ensuring that individuals receive personalised treatment plans tailored to their unique health needs. Dr Wan's broad clinical focus encompasses family medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative healthcare.

Throughout her career, Dr Wan has developed significant expertise in several key areas of General Practice. She has a particular interest in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as addressing women's health and children's health. She is highly skilled in performing skin cancer checks and minor surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and skin flaps. Additionally, she is a qualified provider of family planning services, offering specialised procedures such as the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices. Her practice also extends to managing work-related injuries and compensation claims.

Dr Wan completed her primary medical education and obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1992. Committed to academic excellence, she went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of New South Wales, specialising in heart risk prevention, alongside two Master's degrees focusing on diabetes. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In addition to her clinical work, Dr Wan serves as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at both the University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University, and she is an Accredited Supervisor dedicated to training General Practice Registrars and medical students.
