Dr Puja Mehrotra

Dr Puja Mehrotra is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to patients across all stages of life. Known for her warm bedside manner and thorough clinical approach, she enjoys the diverse challenges of general practice. Dr Mehrotra focuses on delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that every individual receives personalised attention and tailored treatment plans to support their long-term health and well-being.

Dr Mehrotra obtained her primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India in 2000. Following her initial training, she relocated to the United Kingdom to pursue advanced postgraduate medical education, where she earned her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). After moving to Australia, she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012, cementing her status as a highly qualified and globally accredited General Practitioner.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Mehrotra has developed a strong focus on women's health, including antenatal care and specialised procedures such as IUD and Implanon insertions. She is also deeply interested in paediatric health and chronic disease management, helping families navigate complex health journeys. Beyond her clinical duties, Dr Mehrotra is passionate about medical education and actively contributes to the profession by supervising and mentoring medical students and General Practice Registrars.
