Dr Precious McGuire

Dr Precious McGuire is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, holistic medical care to patients at all stages of life. Adopting a "cradle to grave" philosophy, she is committed to supporting the physical and mental well-being of individuals and families. Dr McGuire completed her medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1986. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive postgraduate training at a major metropolitan hospital in Brisbane, which included eighteen months of specialised training in paediatrics and neonatology. Throughout her career, she has worked as a General Practitioner across multiple Australian states, including Queensland, Western Australia, New South Wales, and Victoria. She is accredited with several leading health services and women's hospitals to provide antenatal shared maternity care, and she has completed level two mental health training to deliver focussed psychological strategies. Additionally, she serves as a Clinical Editor for a prominent regional health pathways initiative and maintains an active aged care practice.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr McGuire has developed particular interests in paediatric and neonatal care, mental health, and women's health. Her advanced training in mental health enables her to support patients experiencing psychological distress through evidence-based strategies.
