Dr Prashanta Mallick

Dr Prashanta Mallick is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a focus on building lasting relationships with his patients, he delivers high-quality medical support tailored to individual needs. Dr Mallick adopts a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring that patients of all ages receive the guidance and treatment necessary to achieve positive health outcomes.

Dr Mallick obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Kuban State Medical University in 1991. He subsequently completed the Australian Medical Council examination with high distinction and undertook his clinical training at a major tertiary hospital, gaining valuable experience in the emergency department. To further his expertise, he earned a Diploma in Child Health and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2007. Demonstrating his commitment to the future of medicine, Dr Mallick also serves as a Supervisor for General Practitioner Registrar training.

Throughout his career, Dr Mallick has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is particularly skilled in chronic disease management, with a focus on conditions such as diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). His expertise also extends to skin cancer detection and management, family planning, and contraception procedures, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Additionally, he provides comprehensive care in men's health, women's health, and paediatric medicine, ensuring a well-rounded service for families and individuals alike.
