Dr Pras Sivam specialises in urology, robotic surgery, and cancer. He is based at Precision Urology, Camberwell but also holds consultations at Waverly Private Hospital, Epworth Richmond, Cabrini Hospital Malvern, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Northern Hospital. Dr Sivam is also a specialist at the Australian Prostate Centre.
In addition to general urology, Dr Sivam has skills in robotic and open surgery for prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancer. He takes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and places a high value on shared decision-making with his patients.

Dr Sivam qualified in 2004 from the University of Melbourne. After completing an internship and residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital he then embarked upon accredited training in urology. Following this, he was awarded a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. During this time, Dr Sivam was trained in robotic surgery and a high volume of complex procedures.
Dr Sivam has a passion for medical education and is a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne, where he supervises MD research students. He is actively involved in research and has a number of publications in journals. His research interest is in the clinical management of prostate, kidney and testicular cancer.
Dr Sivam has also won several academic awards including the USANZ Prize for his research on asymptomatic microscopic haematuria, 2011, and was awarded a trophy for ‘best research paper' at the Annual Meeting of the Victorian Section of the Urological Society of Australian and New Zealand.
Dr Sivam also serves as the Urological Society representative on the Movember BroSupPORT Steering Committee, and as Urology Training Supervisor at Northern Health and Senior Medical Analyst for the EMR project at Northern Health.
