Dr Phoebe Hone

Dr Phoebe Hone is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, holistic, and preventative healthcare to patients of all ages. She is passionate about all aspects of family medicine, ensuring that individuals and families receive comprehensive support tailored to their unique health journeys. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr Hone fosters a welcoming environment for all individuals, practising as an LGBTQIA+ friendly General Practitioner.

Dr Hone completed her Bachelor of Medical Science with first-class Honours at the University of Sydney before pursuing her medical training. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015, earning both a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Public Health. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Throughout her career, Dr Hone has gained a broad range of clinical experience working in both hospital and general practice settings across regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne. Her areas of clinical interest include women's health, pregnancy care, and contraceptive procedures such as Implanon insertion. She is also highly experienced in child and adolescent health, mental health, and sexual health, working collaboratively with her patients to achieve optimal long-term well-being.
