Dr Phin Lim

Dr Phin Lim is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing holistic, continuous care to her patients. With a clinical philosophy centred on patient-focused care, she strives to support individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Lim has a diverse clinical background that spans multiple countries, allowing her to bring a well-rounded and culturally sensitive perspective to her practice. She has a particular passion for integrating traditional and complementary therapies to achieve optimal health outcomes for her patients.

Dr Lim completed her medical education at the University of London, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1999. Following her graduation, she gained extensive clinical experience working in various hospitals across the United Kingdom and overseas before completing her specialist General Practice training in Essex. After relocating to Australia, she worked within the public hospital system in New South Wales before establishing her career as a General Practitioner on the Gold Coast. Dr Lim is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (FAMAC), having completed her specialised acupuncture qualification in 2014. She is also an active GP Supervisor, dedicated to mentoring and training medical students and GP Registrars.

Throughout her career, Dr Lim has developed a broad range of clinical interests, with a strong focus on Women's Health, Mental Health, and General Medicine. Her interest in traditional Chinese medicine led her to integrate medical acupuncture into her general practice, offering patients a complementary approach to managing acute and chronic conditions. Whether addressing acute medical concerns, managing chronic diseases, or providing antenatal and paediatric care, Dr Lim approaches every consultation with a reassuring and professional manner, ensuring her patients feel heard and supported.
