Dr Penelope McSweeney is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr McSweeney completed her medical education at Monash University in Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. Committed to continuous professional development, she has obtained several postgraduate qualifications, including a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer, a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a Diploma of Child Health. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her high standards of clinical practice and dedication to the field of primary care.

Throughout her career, Dr McSweeney has gained diverse clinical experience working across several hospitals in Brisbane, as well as practising in North Queensland and Ireland. Her primary areas of clinical interest include skin cancer management, skin cancer surgery, and general skin conditions, alongside women's health, antenatal care, and children's health. She is also highly experienced in performing minor procedures, administering immunisations, conducting health assessments, and developing comprehensive care plans.
