Dr Parveen Kumar Saini

Dr. Parveen is a practice owner and general practitioner who views problems through a holistic lens and aims to help his patients develop the knowledge, skills, and resources to support their own recovery, healing and personal growth. 

He encourages patients to consider a broad range of approaches in their recovery and prescribes lifestyle and systemic interventions, medications and psychotherapy approaches. He believes wellness is dependent on community and welcomes the participation of family members, allies and other people significant in the lives of her patients. He works collaboratively with a network of colleagues in psychiatry, general practice, nursing, and allied health.

He obtained his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. In 2013, he obtained a Master of Public Health with higher distinction from the University of Western Australia, enhancing his expertise in public health and preventive medicine. Additionally, he completed an advanced certification course in skin cancer diagnosis, including Dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery, in 2019.

Throughout his career as a General Practitioner, Dr. Parveen has gained valuable experience working in diverse settings and communities, including Cairns, Gold Coast, and Melbourne. He is proficient in managing chronic complex medical conditions, as well as providing comprehensive care across various demographics, including children, men, women, the elderly, and those requiring mental health support.

Dr. Parveen's expertise extends to performing minor procedures such as Ingrown toenail resection, Implanon insertion and removal, wound sutures, skin cancer excisions, and foreign body removal from the eye and ears. He is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the highest quality of care and attention to detail.

In his leisure time, Dr. Parveen enjoys running, playing tennis, and cherishing moments with his family.
