Dr Parul Garg

Dr Parul Garg is a highly experienced General Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she focuses on supporting the overall well-being of her patients and building trusted, long-term relationships. Dr Garg delivers holistic medical care across all areas of General Practice, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs.

Throughout her career, Dr Garg has developed a diverse clinical background, having worked across various medical departments including General Medicine, Palliative Care, Urosurgery, Psychiatry, and Emergency Medicine. She has a particular interest in women's, child, and family health. Her clinical expertise encompasses antenatal and postnatal care, menopause management, contraception advice, and chronic disease management. Additionally, she is an accredited antenatal shared care provider and is skilled in performing Implanon insertions and removals, as well as providing travel advice and immunisations.

Dr Garg completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in New Delhi, India, where she also undertook postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After relocating to Australia, she obtained her Australian Medical Council (AMC) certificate in 2010. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). Committed to medical education, she serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is a Clinical Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, actively training the next generation of General Practitioners.
