Dr Pankaj Jain

Dr Pankaj Jain is a highly accomplished Academic Interventional Cardiologist based in Sydney, Australia. He holds academic appointments as a Clinical Senior Lecturer and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at leading Australian universities. Dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, Dr Jain combines his clinical expertise with active involvement in cutting-edge cardiovascular research to improve outcomes for individuals experiencing complex heart conditions.

Dr Jain completed his undergraduate medical degree with Honours at the University of New South Wales. He subsequently undertook his specialist training in Cardiology, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) supported by prestigious national scholarships, for which he received outstanding thesis awards. To further refine his expertise, he completed advanced fellowships in interventional cardiology, gaining extensive experience in state-of-the-art cardiac technologies and techniques both in Australia and the United States. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

In his clinical practice, Dr Jain focuses on complex coronary and structural heart interventions, as well as advanced therapies and mechanical support devices for heart failure. He is actively involved in leading clinical trials and research programmes aimed at improving systems of care and equity for patients with life-threatening cardiac conditions. Through his academic and clinical work, Dr Jain remains committed to introducing innovative treatments to help the most critically unwell heart patients.
