Dr Owen Tsao

Dr Owen Tsao is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare to patients from all walks of life. He approaches medicine with a patient-centred philosophy, focusing on delivering personalised care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. Dr Tsao strives to create a reassuring and supportive environment, ensuring his patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their medical journey.

Dr Tsao completed his Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2013. Following his university studies, he undertook his residency training at several regional and metropolitan hospitals in New South Wales, gaining invaluable experience across diverse medical fields. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and further expanded his clinical expertise by completing a Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine in 2018.

With a strong interest in community health, Dr Tsao has developed particular clinical passions for Palliative Medicine and Medical Education. He is actively involved in mentoring and training General Practitioners, with a focus on supporting international medical graduates working in regional and remote areas. Outside of his clinical work, Dr Tsao enjoys contributing to his local community, gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with his family.
