Dr Olubunmi Mabo

Dr Olubunmi Mabo is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a holistic approach to medicine, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Mabo believes in fostering strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered in managing their health and well-being.

Dr Mabo completed her medical degree, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, in Nigeria in 1991. She later relocated to the United Kingdom, where she gained extensive experience in psychiatry and family planning. During her time in the UK, she became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), completed a Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning, and obtained a Certificate in Substance Misuse Psychiatry. After moving to Australia, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence.

Throughout her career, Dr Mabo has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about mental health, drawing on her deep background in psychiatry to support patients experiencing psychological distress or substance misuse. Her practice also encompasses women's health, family planning, and sexual health, alongside paediatrics, adolescent health, and geriatrics. By combining her broad medical knowledge with a reassuring manner, she delivers tailored healthcare solutions that address both the physical and emotional needs of her patients.
