Dr Oleksandr Petsentiy

Dr Oleksandr Petsentiy is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to his patients. With a strong focus on holistic wellbeing, he prioritises establishing lasting relationships with individuals and families to ensure they receive personalised and dignified care. His patient-centred approach is designed to reassure and support patients through every stage of their health journey, making their comfort and confidence his primary concern.

Throughout his career, Dr Petsentiy has developed a broad range of clinical interests within family medicine. He is particularly passionate about preventative care, health promotion, and chronic disease management. Additionally, he has a deep-rooted interest in dermoscopy and the detection and treatment of skin cancers, having pursued advanced training in this field. His diverse expertise also extends to occupational health, mental health counselling, and paediatric care, allowing him to address a wide array of medical needs for patients of all ages.

Dr Petsentiy earned his Medical Doctorate at the Bukovinian State Medical Academy. Before transitioning to general practice in Australia, he gained valuable clinical experience working as a Surgeon. In 2015, he was admitted as a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. To further enhance his clinical skills, he also completed an Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy.
