Dr Nuwan Dharmaratne

Dr Nuwan Dharmaratne is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families through every stage of life, he focuses on delivering holistic healthcare solutions. Dr Dharmaratne is passionate about understanding the unique health challenges faced by his patients, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and reassuring medical support.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Dharmaratne has developed a broad range of clinical expertise. He has a special interest in paediatrics and child health, men's health, and the treatment and prevention of chronic diseases, such as diabetes. Additionally, he has undertaken advanced training in skin cancer diagnosis, allowing him to perform thorough skin checks and skin cancer surgery. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Dharmaratne is actively involved in medical education, working as a Medical Educator to train and mentor the next generation of General Practitioners.

Dr Dharmaratne completed his Bachelor of Science (Advanced) with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney, majoring in neuroscience, where he was also awarded the prestigious University Medal. He then went on to study medicine, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Australian National University in Canberra. Following his medical degree, he completed his hospital training in Western Sydney. Dr Dharmaratne holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has obtained a Diploma in Child Health to further support his paediatric practice.
