Dr Nivethigha Chellappah is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. Dr Chellappah graduated with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2012, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She completed her pre-vocational training at a major hospital in Sydney, gaining valuable experience across diverse medical fields, including Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, and Trauma Surgery. Committed to continuous professional development, she obtained a Diploma of Child Health from the University of Sydney in 2014 and a Professional Diploma of General Dermatology in 2020. She has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2017 and has also held professional registration in the United Kingdom.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Chellappah is interested in all aspects of family medicine. She has developed particular clinical interests in women's health, children's health, mental health, and weight management. Her advanced training allows her to offer specialised procedures, including the insertion and removal of Implanon NXT, as well as the removal of Mirena intrauterine devices (IUDs).
