Dr Nicholas Walder

Dr Nicholas Walder is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the Balgowlah community. He believes in working collaboratively with his patients to deliver an unrivalled standard of healthcare, tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of every individual. With a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine, Dr Walder is committed to supporting his patients through every stage of life, offering reassuring and professional guidance.

Dr Walder completed his medical education at the University of Birmingham, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2007. He subsequently undertook his specialist General Practice training in London, where he attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). After relocating to Australia, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Walder is actively involved in undergraduate medical teaching, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Throughout his career, Dr Walder has developed particular expertise in several key areas of medicine, including Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, and Sports Medicine. He is also passionately interested in Men's Health, having gained valuable experience working at a world-leading men's health clinic in London. This advanced training has equipped him with specialised skills in managing complex conditions such as prostate disease and erectile dysfunction. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Walder is a family man and an avid sportsman who enjoys long-distance running, rugby, and golf.
