Dr Nicholas John Scott

Dr Nicholas John Scott is a highly experienced General Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in a collaborative approach to healthcare, emphasising shared responsibility between Doctor and patient to achieve optimal health outcomes. Dr Scott encourages healthy lifestyle choices, including balanced nutrition and regular exercise, understanding that true wellbeing encompasses both physical health and personal happiness.

With extensive experience in General Practice, Dr Scott has developed a deep expertise in managing chronic diseases, including heart, lung, kidney, liver, and neurological conditions. He is also highly skilled in musculoskeletal medicine, sports injuries, and performing thorough skin cancer checks and excisions. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Scott is deeply committed to medical education, actively teaching and mentoring General Practice Registrars and Medical Students to help train the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Dr Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales in 1980. He subsequently attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1991. To support his commitment to evidence-based care and ongoing professional development, he maintains an active membership with the Musculoskeletal Research in Practice Network.
