Dr Nicholas Bourke

Dr Nicholas Bourke is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to the community of Kenmore, Australia. With a patient-centred approach, he is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Bourke enjoys all aspects of General Practice, offering reassuring and professional care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Throughout his career, Dr Bourke has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He has a particular focus on chronic disease management, palliative care, and mental health, alongside paediatrics and men's health checks. Additionally, he possesses extensive experience in emergency medicine and skin assessments. Beyond his clinical work, Dr Bourke is passionate about medical education, actively supervising medical students and General Practice training Registrars.

Dr Bourke completed his Bachelor of Science in 2000, followed by his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004, both at the University of Queensland. He completed his internship and residency training across several major emergency departments and hospitals in Queensland. In 2011, he was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
