Dr Nerida McDonald

Dr Nerida McDonald is a General Practitioner and the Founder and Owner of Walker Street Doctors in North Sydney, New South Wales. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1991 and has extensive experience in general practice, medical leadership, and healthcare education.

Since establishing Walker Street Doctors in 2012, Dr McDonald has overseen the development of an independent general practice focused on comprehensive primary healthcare. She has particular interests in travel medicine, sports medicine, children's health, adolescent health, men's health, and antenatal care. Her clinical practice includes paediatric healthcare, baby and child health assessments, sports injury management, musculoskeletal conditions, preventative healthcare, and the management of a broad range of general medical concerns.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr McDonald is actively involved in mentoring and developing General Practitioners and has undertaken extensive postgraduate training across multiple areas of medicine. Her additional qualifications include child health, reproductive and sexual health, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, medical education, emergency medicine, and professional practice leadership.
