Dr Neil Rowe

Dr Neil Rowe is a highly regarded Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for both adult and paediatric patients. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr Rowe specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general eye disease, with a particular focus on advanced cataract surgery and the management of strabismus, commonly known as squint or turned eyes. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised treatments that help restore and protect his patients' vision.

Dr Rowe completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1992. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical research and public health, he went on to obtain a Master of Public Health with Honours from the same institution in 1998, where his research focused on the relationship between diabetes and cataract development. He undertook extensive specialist training in Ophthalmology across several prominent tertiary and paediatric hospitals in Australia and the United Kingdom. Dr Rowe is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Rowe is actively involved in medical education and research. He has contributed to the advancement of his field by authoring numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and presenting his findings at both national and international conferences. He also contributes to the training of future eye specialists through his roles in clinical lecturing as a Clinical Lecturer. Dr Rowe's combination of academic involvement and clinical expertise ensures that his patients receive evidence-based care of the highest standard.
