Dr Kenny Chan

Dr Kenny Chan is an experienced ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon with a subspecialist interest in oculoplastic surgery. He has over ten years of clinical experience and specialises in eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and cataract surgery. He consults at Central Sydney Eye Surgeons, Concord Eye Specialists, Nexus EyeCare Norwest, Dubbo Eye Centre, and Orange Eye Centre, providing expert care across multiple locations in New South Wales.

He studied medicine at the University of Melbourne, where he was awarded the prestigious Melbourne National Scholarship. After graduating with honours, he completed ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital before undertaking a fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He then completed further subspecialty fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery at University Hospital Aintree in Liverpool, UK, and the Singapore National Eye Centre. In addition, he holds a Graduate Diploma in Refractive Surgery from the University of Sydney.

He is actively involved in clinical research and teaching, having published multiple papers in local and international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented his research at international conferences, including the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society and the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He regularly attends international meetings to stay at the forefront of current techniques and technology. He is a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at both the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales and is involved in training registrars and medical students. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
