Dr Neil Rawlinson

Dr Neil Rawlinson is a highly dedicated Consultant Geriatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive, holistic healthcare for older adults. With a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for his patients, he focuses on the complex physiological and psychological changes that occur with ageing. Dr Rawlinson provides expert care across a wide range of settings, including acute and subacute geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, and community geriatrics, ensuring that elderly patients receive the tailored support they require to maintain their independence and well-being.

In his clinical practice, Dr Rawlinson addresses a diverse array of age-related health concerns. He has a particular interest in memory and dementia assessments, as well as the management of behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia. His expertise also extends to the diagnosis and management of Parkinson's Disease, osteoporosis, and falls prevention. Dedicated to proactive and compassionate care, he regularly conducts comprehensive medication reviews, capacity and fitness-to-drive assessments, and advanced care planning, helping patients and their families navigate the complexities of multiple co-existing medical conditions.

Dr Rawlinson completed his medical degree at the University of Liverpool in 2005. After gaining initial clinical experience in the United Kingdom, he relocated to Australia, where he undertook specialist physician training and advanced training in geriatric medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Rawlinson is deeply committed to medical education; he serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame and is pursuing a Master of Medical Education, actively contributing to the training of the next generation of medical professionals.
